Time lapse Morpho butterfly emerging from chrysalis.
This was filmed in my studio over a period of 10 days. This involved a very warm and humid studio plus long hours waiting for the butterfly to emerge. The chrysalis changes colour before the butterfly emerges, usually very early in the morning.

Nikon D300, 55mm lens with studio flash. 20 - 2 sec interval using tungsten lamp, humidifier, and propagator.
