This video is an interdisciplinary video project at Montana Tech between Dr. David Bunnell in the Department of General Engineering and Dr. Lori Shyba in the Department of Professional and Technical Communication. Planetary Gears are used to reduce the speed of rotating objects and are useful in, for example automobile transmissions.
