Battlefield 3 PC - The Mighty Mortar

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION

This might not be the most exciting gameplay you will see of BF3..

EDIT: To answer a few questions:
1. I'm not a camper, I made this to show the mortar and how it works.

2. This is on PC
3. The mortar has unlimited ammo
4. Yes, I would say it needs a lot of changes, ammo limit for a start
5. Mortar takes the C4 gadget slot
6. It has a range limit of around 240metres

@ri8002 more of a lamer weapon, they are not that strong in itself, but slightly too strong as it is atm.100%accuracy without LOS and the ability to damage any vehicle, 2-3shot ppl and destroy cover is overdoing it, esp. when they can sit in places outside ur own teams reach.In reality, mortar is far from accurate...it just tosses shells into an area the size of a stadium...It's also highly annoying...it's rush,we need to attack...half my team mortar laming...epic...same for conquest

@orztaku lol, that's pretty much what I've been saying that the mortars are not as crazy strong as people make them out to be, they're extremely weak and more of a support weapon than an attacking weapon :)

@ri8002 true, but more or less meaningless. Mortar means point at a place on the map and fire. . .if you have a rough idea of what the terrain looks like, you know where cover is, a.k.a where enemies are most likely. Basically allowing you to fire blindly at hidden enemies, even if they are idle, hidden and/or use silencers.

@ZatackTheGreat in theory effectiv, in reality not. . .all enemies see ur (empty) mortar for a second on the map when you place it. . .meaning enemy mortars can see and shell you while you aren't even ready to fire. Mortar have a MINIMUM and MAX range. . .get close enough (and/or kill him) is the most effective way. Usually killing a mortar lamer will result in him/her respawning and placing a new mortar somewhere else anyway

@ri8002 actually u can kill pilots of jets and helis with any weapon (knife and grenade might be challenging tho) and tanks with mines, C4,EOD or rep tool :P
