Remember Alwayz, (R.A. for short) was born, Rasheed Jamal Washington, in Hot Springs, AR also known as The Spa. Raised on jazz, gospel, blues and old school he had parents that always had good music playing. By the age of 9 he started to become influenced by rap groups such as Bone Thugs In Harmony, Outkast, Goodie Mobb, Dominoe, Tupac, Westside Connection, Nas, Snoop Dogg, and other various forms of music one can be exposed through via the media outlets available. R.A. comments, "As a toddler I used to sing to myself when I got in a bad mood. For some reason since those days its always helped me put my problems to the side and get my head back where it needed to be. My cousin actually got me to freestyle when I went to Houston for the holidays back in the 9th grade. Shortly after that, I started writing songs and letting people check me out, and they dug it." At 23, he displays originality in his music and though eccentric at times, has a digestible message and delivery that is easy on the ear of listeners.
