A Courgette is also called a Zucchini. You don't have to use Courgettes it is just an extra.

  • Do we have to use a saucepan? Can't we use a cooking pot?

  • @PhilipineMan

you can use a sauce pan if you want. or even a wok.

  • I wonder why she calls the zucchini a 'courgette' in this video, but in another she calls it a 'marrow'.

    Doesn't matter a bit. I'm just curious.

  • marrow and courgette are both different.

  • Ah, the traditional way of cooking pasta sauce.

Through a wok, I should try that sometimes.

Cooking the sauce in a pot is very tedious.

  • @AdIgnorantiam

The arrangement of different words help people identify a dish. This dish is related to spag bol that is why the wording is the way it is.

  • Why even call this "Bolognese?" It doesn't resemble the actual dish in any way.

  • @Jemeela And both are British terms for what we Americans call a zucchini. Usually a Marrow is called a yellow zucchini or yellow squash depending on the store or region of the US.
