изобщо даже не плагиатстват

Also, @everyone claiming plagiarism:
How can you imply that Nocturne - Secret Garden is the first piece of music to contain that particular phrase?
Oh... I know. Because no one ever listens to classical music. There are no "new" melodies. All art is clever theft. The true art is in concealing your sources.

in music, a phrase in which a few notes are the same as those from a piece of music from an older composer's work is considered a quotation or a nod. If it is unintentional (and sufficiently interpretive, rather than derivative, as is the Pain of Salvation example from the original work) it is safe to consider it a product of influence. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery-- never forget that some composers do not hate each other.
Some of us aren't stingy, either.

I actually think if they've chosen such a wonderful song for "Sisters" that could be partially praise of their wide musical knowledge...God bless PoS!
-
come on guy,we're talking about a band that made original sound ever since "Entropia" and now how can you tell me they copy a melody still existing in many irish and celtic songs?Go away
and talk about other bands, but don't touch POS please

You can't plagerize something like this when its not identically copied. Now if he literally COPIED every note and every lyric of this song. YES that is bull shit. You can't copyright melodies because there are going to be similar feelings at times to music. The guy is a musical genius...its highly doubtful he decided to just get lazy and copy the melody of this song. He's got way too much experience behind him to pull a half ass stunt like that.

It is not similar. It is equal. And other parts of the album have similar things from other songs.

@tthornclownn Did he explain it in english anywhere else?
-
come on its obvious its not intentional...and no the two melodies are not so similar

For fuck's sake, this man has written every single note of Entropia, One Hour by the Concrete Lake, The Perfect Element 1, Remedy Lane, Be and Scarsick before Road Salt One. Does anyone believe that he needed to copy intentionally anyone? Jesus, we're talking about "Remedy Lane" people. For "The Perfect Element"! For, probably, the most awesome music around these days.
Daniel already spoke about that in this interview:

(Try google translate)
First thing he said is "It was certainly unintentionally! And it is very annoying." In the full answer he explains why he ended up with that melody. So, certainly no plagiarism, but yes, the melodies are very similar.
