@dawchiks Um, just no. The 430MHz unit is a DSP that takes care of radio communication tasks. The N900 has the same ARM Cortex A8 and OMAP 3430 architecture as the iPhone 3GS and the Omnia HD. The Qualcomm Snapdragon in the HD2 is a full 400MHz faster, but of course you can overclock the N900 to reach that speed.
That said, I do agree with you on Maemo 5, it is much more refined.

I really dont understand the necessity of 4.1inch screen. Its to big for the pocket. That was the reason why few bought the previous maemo versions. That and the fact that it didnt have a phone.
Youll see that this model will sell like hot cakes.
This is the best phone in the word. Period.

i chose n900 over hd2.
well, hd2 has 1ghz CPU, but N900 has 600 mhz cpu + 430 mhz GPU, so it's not so much difference. i prefer maemo 5 os over winmo.
