The dance is not a form of a Jemez dance but the song originated from Jemez. It was made by my uncle valentino. i believe the song was givin to your family to use for southern plains style eagle dancing when they traveled during the 60's 70's. I know it was handed down to your family. My dad Paul dance with Tommy Ware he said n traveled with them throughout the country. SO IN CONCLUSION ITS JEMEZ EAGLE DANCE SONG BUT DANCED IN A SOUTHERN PLAINS FASHION........

xmanvigil is right. this is not the jemez eagle dance. im pretyt sure whoever gifted this song and dance (whitecloud) dosnt know what they are talking about. the style of sone is not pueblo, the regalia is not pueblo, the steps in the dance are not pueblo... perhaps this was inspired by jemez pueblo but definately is not from there. i would now because i am. and second of all Clarene84 the idea that you own this song, that it was gifted and its yours to 'use' is just wrong.

The song is a faster version of Jemez Eagle dance song. Everything else is a Non-Jemez interpretation.
