Im sorry to add that this is not classified as Medieval music.
In the Medieval period there were only Male voices.
therefore this is Incorrect.

@Beliber88 What you said was incorrect because the nuns sung inside the convents. Women could not sing in a church, especially when a Mass was performed, but they lived in nunneries, abbeys and convent, where men could not go and also sang to God. Hildegard von Binger was one of the most expressive abbess and founder of the convent at Rubertsberg in Germany and composed many sequences. Surely the nuns and abbess sang Catholic music on Medieval times. I suggest you to read Palisca, Stolba, Seaton
