Do it yourself DIY Nike+iPod pouch

Do it yourself (DIY) solution to attach the Nike+iPod to shoes that are not Nikes or were not designed for the Nike+iPod.

White shoes in the video are Athletic Works "Sammy" shoes and the grey shoes are Nike Air Max Alvord II ACG trail running shoes.

Video and editing took about a hour total.

NOTE: I see some people are just placing the sensors under their shoe laces. I tried this, and it lasted about a month before I lost the sensor during a run. After a hour of retracing my steps I finally found it again but it was not fun and WOULD NOT suggest it

I've been searching for what those were! I got them free at a 5k run and when I replaced the shoes I went to buy more. NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF THEM. Went to all the large sporting goods stores in the big city and employees just looked at me funny when I described them.

@xX360xVIDEOSXx I'm not being cheap, not everyone likes Nike shoes, but unfortunately Nike's are the only ones that have the sensor compartment.  Personally I like Adidas, Asics and New Balance more than Nike

you dont need it anymore. it just comes free when you buy a 6th gen touch. no sensors needed.

@iamjames2 the sensor actually fits into the adidas micoach compartment in my supernova glides. so you can still use the nike plus system if you prefer adidas :)
