@Nastybodone You would need to have something to pass the string under just in front of you if you are in an elevated blind but if you are in a boat don't worry about it. Bill

@Nastybodone We just rig it by pounding a stake in the bottom and putting a bungee cord on that end of the string and hooking it to the stake. So we don't use a weight but if you are hunting in deep water you would have to use some sort of heavy weight on the other end.
