  • Hello, got your note..Yes I do get water in the Canyon...I take all my five gallon jugs and get sometimes 50 gallons at a time. Don't wanna run out, as it's so pure and tasty. I don't make it down nearly enough, but have that option, and feel very blessed. I couldn've volunteered with my friend, but didn't have $ for gas...she let me know the night before, and I hadn't heard of the festival. Gotta get on a raw food kick, as I've been eating your standard diet. Will get cookbook soon! Ciao!

  • so glad you are blessed with a nearby spring! i wish i had know it was there when i went to school in flagstaff... oh well. :) anyway, thanks so much, be happy and healthy, julie and sarah

  • Hello Julie and Sarah! Sorry I missed you girls. I found out about the festival WAY too late. My friend Jayne was volunteering, and wanted me to come up at the last minute. I was broke--boo hoo, but I'm planning to go next year. It would've rocked to meet you--maybe another time! I'm so lucky to live in N. Az, and get to see the red rocks & Oak Creek quite often-my fave places, and the Buddhist Stupa too, in Sedona. Blessings to you both, & say hi to Mom! Michelle

  • Oh bummer we missed you. hopefully next year. It was really slow, so hopefully we can afford to do the show again next year. there was just no traffic. I wish we knew you were wanting to come. We had extra half-price passes for "helpers". oh well...anyway, sedona is marvelous. that was sarah's first time. we got fresh spring water. do you collect water there in oak creek? we will have a video on it soon... cant wait to go back! chat soon... luv, us

  • oops, sarah was logged in, so you will see a few responses from her account when i answered you. just so you know it was us that responded with her account on accident :)

  • no, we did not really know about them until now. if we have extra food/time we will put some in :)

  • yeah, we hear ya! thats exactly what happens. and then there are those folks who are coming off a SAD diet, and so snacking on raw "junk food" all day feels great on their belly. we used to be that way and now are moving into less of those foods as we become more sensitive. :) we saw a nice youtube guy who said he met you in san jose or something. then we saw a canadian girl and also raw dog rory. veyr nice guy. it was fun seeing at least a few :)

  • yes, one right next to me! i already emailed them asking for more info! it's in palo alto on sundays. i saw one in your town too, do you do it?

  • they have all those samples out and people start snacking and substituting meals for a plethora of snacks which is like hitting a buffet line on the body... a bunch of highly poorly combine foods in each snack and then snack on top of snack and people get buffet-belly, ouch. btw. the zuchinni onion bread i use to buy was made fresh for me from a local raw foodist and still moist like the bread you described. which you tubers did you all see??? ps lovely views!

  • oh i know that's one reason i stopped eating them a long time ago... i was never really even into shelf snacks so i can't really speak from experience with those but have had a little here and there... like onion bread with zuchinni, use to get really triggered with that - too salty. i no longer support the shelf foods for myself but to each their own. i do see a lot of people addictively snakcing on them though and it's really unbalanced.and harsh on the gi tract. what happens at the events is
