Eurotunnel by motorcycle

I have just been on holiday to Normandy and tried the Eurotunnel for the very first time. What a great way to travel. The clip is from Calais to Folkstone.
So easy to use, book your train on the internet, arrive at the tunnel, put your credit card in the machine, confirm name, and the train ticket is printed for you.

I guess the British are against European unity as you still have to go thorugh border control to go to Britain though they are part of the European Union.

If you're able to go to countries like Belgium, France, Switzerland (not part of EU, but part of Schengen Treaty), Spain, Germany, Denmark, or Sweden without border control, you should do the same with Great Britain.

@HalifaxHercules - Don't get me started.....Just got back from France, via ferry, Cherbourg to Porstmouth. Passport checked in France and then a long wait to get through Border Control in the UK. Never asked once to remove the crash helmet. One year came through with a dark visor, kept it down, never challenged......

what diference between eurostar and eurochanel pls?

@faridjabba - As far as I know, Eurostar is the passenger train service which runs from London, to Paris etc and Eurotunnel is the company who operates the channel tunnel.

Been through here a few times with the wife on board. Reccommend the Holiday Inn in Calais and the fish restaurant on the front drag. Top tip, don't infront of the white lines at the check in lanes until the car in front has cleared, on the first leg of our trip to Nice this year a car with roofrack fitted thought he was in the wrong lane and reversed into us!!! thankfully just a cracked bumper he paid cash up front for and an easy on the fly repair with gaffa tape
