NCMR 2011 - The Lobby Game: Kicking Butt in the Halls of Power

Want to fight for a media system that works for us? Learn how at this workshop, where participants actually role-played a full advocacy campaign on how to win policy victories for media reform and media justice. The workshop, held at the National Conference for Media Reform in Boston on April 9, was led by media reform campaigners with strong roots in community organizing and experience in lobbying on Capitol Hill.

Panelists: Rachel Colyer, Media and Democracy Coalition; Erin McKeown, musician and activist; Chancellor Williams, Free Press. The workshop was moderated by Hannah Jane Sassaman, New America Foundation.
