honestly I wish they would bring all of these amazing practical european cars to America (particularly the 118d) and get ride of those ridiculous gas guzzlers - seriously im sick of them!!! The BMW 118/120d should have arrived in the U.S. yesterday if you catch my drift. The only decent fuel efficient diesel is currently the Audi A3 tdi - and it is overpriced!

@stevieboy1984 i learned driving in a 118d, and it did have a 1.8 so might be coincidense then , excuse my bad english

@modwebby Sorry, but you're wrong, my friend works for BMW and confirmed that it is 2.0L, also I spoke to a salesman at my local BMW garage on the weekend when looking at cars and he also said it.

@modwebby Actually the 118d and 120d and 123d all have 2.0 Litre Engines, they are just tuned differently.

All 4 pot BMW's are 1995 cc... even the 116i and 123d
