This street is not busy for china at all! I'm currently in Shanghai China and I went to a festival at yuyuan garden that had over 1 million people in a small space now thats packed! Also try NANJING RD off peoples square thats a packed street!

This video was taken in Guangzhou in southern China, where the streets are old and smelly. Shanghai is where I used to live, and it's really cleaned up quite a bit. Lot's a skyscrapers. Very modern city. You may try finding streets like that near The Bund and the old French Quarter for something like on the video. Have fun!
