@deathnotex101 You can trust wikipedia in this aspect. Wikipedia is not a reliable source for research papers and scholarly things. But no one is going to purposefully misslead people into believing that this was not "alien life". Check out the algae on youtube. Other sources verify it.

This is not alien life. It was concluded that they were algae spores from something called "Trentepohlia lichen". This kind of algae grows very heavily on trees and rocks in the local area. I found this in wikipedia, which, granted, has issues with validity. But, this seemed to be very legit and noted all of its sources. Furthermore, the theory about a meteor can not work because it would be much more widespread, not so localized. Thumbs up so everyone can see!
