Arcadia, my arcade cab restoration - mi restauración de una máquina recreativa

This was my first cab restoration, the process began 6 years ago and I think will never end xD

The cab was in really bad condition when a picked it from the street, was a popular type cab in my local arcades, a videoval, made in Valencia, Spain.

First I used the neogeo included conected to a pal tv but now I´m using a pc with mame conected to a pal tv (thinking about changing with a bigger tv). Pal tvs are very similar to arcade monitors, can be conected to low 15 khz resolutions without any extra hardware (well, an arcade vga, I´m talking about conecting jamma boards directly) and the quality is really good (rgb). For wiring the panel instead of using an i-pac I used this cheaper chinese copy, for front- end I used maximus arcade, mala hangs in my pc with video previews.

Esta fue mi primera restauración de una máquina recreativa, la empecé hace 6 años y no creo que acabe nunca xD

La máquina estaba hecha polvo cuando la recogí de la calle, era un modelo muy popular en los recreativos de mi ciudad, una videoval, hecha en Valencia, España.

Primero usé la neogeo que venia con el mueble pero ahora uso un pc con mame conectado a una televisión pal (aunque estoy pensando de poner una tele más grande). Las tvs pal son muy parecidas a los monitores arcade, se les puede conectar señales de baja resolución de 15 khz sin ningún hardware extra (bueno, una arcade vga si hace falta, hablo de conectar placas jamma directamente) y la calidad es fantástica (rgb). Para conectar el panel en vez de usar un i-pac usé esta copia barata de los chinos, como front-end uso maximus arcade, mala se me cuelga cuando uso video previews.
