In 2004, Senator Sam Brownback introduced a resolution (Resolution 37) to "offer an apology to all Native Peoples on behalf of the United States" for past "ill-conceived policies by the United States Government regarding Indian Tribes. The US Senate has yet to take action on the measure.

US government committed genocide on North American Indians, the real owners of America, and relocated the survivors to the west from their home towns in Georgia and Florida. Even today, the US government has not apologized to these native Americans.
