Mission 11: Alternative Solutions

Earlier this week, we started our second video game giveaway contest.

We posted the very difficult question to you all:

"Which is the better franchise, and why: Resident Evil, or Silent Hill?"

We recieved close to a staggering 200 answers:

All were really entertaining

Some were even what we would call "scholarly"

In the end, the winner we chose this week was:

His answer: "Resident Evil is a better franchise. It has evolved from the survival horror genre into more of an action game, and it is better for it. While Silent Hill languishes in between the two genres, Resident Evil has become more fun to play, continued its
engaging story and generally improved tenfold since its PS1 days."

We found this answer: Simple, To the point, Fair

And it showed an experienced knowledge of both series.
