This is what I saw on the 1st and 3rd of July 2009.
Matt (rastapasta13) is playing 'Big Cheese'.
On the 1st I saw my first two daytime UFO's - I've seen plenty at night. This is the color they were flying slow. The fast one was an reddish-orange almost a rusty appearance!

About 7:40pm- one bright white orb shape object viewed from my east looking position passed about 45-50 deg.inclination skimming cloud tops at about 18K-20K ft ASL (maybe lower). Speed was about 5 deg. per second, range approx. 7 miles line of sight. Size about 30ft. shape-orb, bright white appearance, blackish top, top only slightly visible. Travelling from approx. 190-195 deg. from south heading approx 10-15 degrees North. Was not a rock steady flight path like an aircraft- of which 8 flew by in the succeeding 25 minutes. It seemed to want to stay in cloud cover and took shortest smoothest path to stay in clouds. As no.1 disappeared to the North, 30 secs later, No. 2 comes into view on same flight path and level, same cloud hopping behavior. This time I tried my "Bill Hamilton" psychic communication and it actually slowed down before entering clouds 2 times...! I was hoping to coax it closer, No. 2 actually seemed to linger/slow in the clouds longer and change course to slightly more east to take longer cloud cover path. I took that to be that it was not interested in being seen particularly at that time.
I need a decent video outfit! I hung around outside for over 25 minutes to see if anymore might show up, just jets... last one(set) of jets was a AF tanker refueling a C-17 cargo at about 17K ft. ASL heading about 20 deg. North. Verr..ry quiet. Nearly inaudible low rumble. None of the jets sighted left contrails. All comm'l jets were much louder than MIL jets were. UFO's left no contrails or made any noise, and travelled about 30-40% faster than the jets were.
I live in Hartsville, SC, approx 34deg. 38min.N -80deg. 52min.W
Their flight path(UFO's) points them to fly from my location to over Fayettville NC, Raleigh NC, Richmond VA, Washington DC, Philadelphia PA, and New York NY, and to points NNE...but who knows??

On July 2:
I decided to get my Sanyo SlimCam out and try to capture some sightings.
I started at about 6:30 setting up and made some recordings to test aim and get used to the camera again. It was made in Feb. 1994 !
There was not much air traffic and the traffic I saw was very hard to locate and video tape. I can not see worth a darn without my glasses, and I can not see in the video cam viewfinder with them!
If the object is slow and is near a stationary object that I can reference I have a good chance of catching something...
I stayed out to past 10PM on the 2nd . I thought I saw an object passing fron N to S under a star or planet (that is supposed to be there), but I could not capture a video image of it.

Fast Forward to July 3:
I did not even try to take my cam out as I was still frustrated and dejected at the dismal attempt to video the day before.
At about 8:30pm as it was nearing darkness, I caught sight of a very fast moving object right over my head. Same altitude as on the 1st, but moving from N to S this time, only at a speed I would have to guess at over 2000 MPH. No sound, no contrail. Clearly visible to my eyes (with glasses) it looked just like the two seen on the 1st, but a more orange tint and nearly 4x as fast.
Even if I had my cam out and already recording I do not think I'd get a chance to capture it on video it moved so fast. In daylight- it moved from overhead to 50-55 degrees farther toward the horizon in a matter of 3-4 seconds before I could not make it out anymore. I'd guess it would have had to travel over 15-20 miles in that time. It was about 3 miles in the air. It did seem to make a delicate curve to the SSE as it zoomed south.

Just so you know- these videos you see online of UFO's or any relatively small object filmed in the sky are by no means easy to capture! Just keeping something in your viewfinder is difficult!
