As her felony theft trial is in recess for Veterans Day, Mayor Sheila Dixon lashed out at reporters, photographers and one of her press aides, as reporters gathered outside City Hall to talk to her. Dixon was returning from a Veterans Day ceremony.

@tears2day good points and all, however the jury involved in her trial did indeed find her guilty of embezzlement primarily over the gift cards to the poor people. Whereas Dixon's positions might make for a principled person, her actions spoke louder with the final outcome warranting a criminal penalty. If anything, your belief she was in "a position to help people" completely belies Dixon's behavior supporting the notion of her only assisting one person in the end: herself, not other people.

We can never really know the full account of this situation but what I do know is that if this were me or a loved one dear to my heart I would want people to have a little understanding, hence the world we live in divided and not united, evil vs. good. I don't know mayor Dixon but I can discern she has a caring spirit otherwise she wouldn't even have been in a position to help people. Give a little compassion. Treat others as you would want to be treated!
