Skillet has released eight albums, two receiving Grammy nominations: Collide and Comatose. Over the past 13 years, Skillet has spanned many different genres, including hard rock, industrial rock, and symphonic rock. As of late 2009 they have sold over a million albums

Comatose Comes Alive
Comatose Comes Alive DVD/CD is the second live album and second live DVD by the Christian rock band Skillet, which peaked at #164 on the Billboard 200. It is the band's first combination CD/DVD of live recording, as their first official live album was 2000's Ardent Worship, a worship album recorded live. The band's first live DVD was the Alien Youth DVD, which featured an acoustic performance. Comatose Comes Alive was recorded on May 9, 2008, in Chattanooga, Tennessee and was released on October 21, 2008. The album is a CD of the concert's audio and a DVD capturing the live show. However, John Cooper's speech after "Savior" is cut from the CD.

  • Hmm the way John sings is special, when I take in air my shoulders don't go up like that

  • OMG...they are way more amazing live!!!

  • Skillet, Y U NO COME TO UK? :(

  • @somthingstupid65 I liked Hero, Sometimes, and Lucy. Everybody loves Monster, but I find it terribly overrated. In my opinion, Collide was their best album, Comatose was a close second, and Awake just wasn't very good. Hopefully they don't continue to go downhill with their next album.

  • @trentguevremont the songs on this dvd were recorded several years ago, and yes this DVD is amazing, but their new album is terrible!! I have to admit Hero and Awake and Alive were good, but the rest just seemed like they were trying to copy three days grace a little too much

  • skillet was the 1 rock band that i ever heard and is the best rock band in my life skillet <3

  • @somthingstupid65 they are o.O this is only a year ago, and they are still this awesome =.=

  • @GuitarManTayana saw em with creed in atlanta. best show ever. the opened for creed and they took over the whole damn show.

  • I scroll through the comments and keep seeing mine pop up from months ago XD love this Vid.

  • @TheRealStonedPope yeah they are still good live, i think they go a little too heavy on the pyros but thats ok, its there last CD that bothers me, it sounds like they are trying sound like three days grace (who just so happens to be on the same label).
