Oddly wonder if she is Kuzunagi from the film, maybe why she is so obsessed with going after the teacher in the film. You know when they die they bring them back with a new name and memory but even then over time they remember things, Kuzunagi from the film is considered the best Kildren Ace Pilot, hense she lived long enough to have a teen child. Sadly the eyes seem wrong.

find it comical but this is what i always hoped Ace Combat would turn into, I was getting bored of the modern jet aircraft.
