When he mentions that one could use the serrated side of the First Blood knife on metal like a saw, I would think that since the knife has no tang whatsoever in the handle; that before you could do much sawing; your knife would likely break right off at the handle.

is one thing; yes, one needs a publisher with a "ex cathedra" approach to the Book u're writing. Morrell's book
of writing technique is more than "valuable" (Dean Koontz's words) .

I have that Succesful Novelist book right in front of me signed. I aspire to be a published writer,b ut my BIG book is still in teh wokrs, page tweo hudnred twenty-four, and I am only in high school so who would want to publsh me at such an early age? But this book I am writing is pretty long and pretyy good from what little I have shown to my friends.

First Blood. First published in 1972. Great book. Masterpiece. One has to read it. And
then watch the movie again. Surf on david morrell's website; am not sure of this but
i heard wim wenders was to adapt a novel
of his: Creepers. Just a rumour, though.

I have a first edition of First Blood signed by Morrell, it is a very cool book. And today he had a book signing at Mystery Bookstore and I got his new book The Shimmer and he signed that. Very nice guy, very smart.
