  • oh brother its 2010 , but i remember us both landing in the palace that first night both buzzing we spent hours sorting our kit out trying out diff shit, i remember your burning road wheel the night of the 20th both our trucks packing in as we got bk from the op lol then both of us fucked going straight bk out that was a hot day lots of complaining knowing we where going into an ambush but not giving a fuck lol WARRIORS!! mate ill never forget when they told me you where gone sweet dreams bro

  • The Queen has made speaches on the last combat troops to leave Iraq in St Pauls today and what was acheived. So sad Jez was one of the boys to not come back they all should have made it. What was given was in the cause of others but it wont stop their freinds and family from missing them. I noticed a bottle of Corona on your grave dude after your birthday, crack it open and take a sip, would have been nice to share it with you.

  • Nice tribute mate, Tommo, Ex 2RGJ

    Swift and Bold.

  • Great touching video, Thanks for the upload. RIP good soldier

  • I cant believe its been just over two years now God Bless Jez x Rest peacefully x

  • Her Royal Highness's admiration for The Rifles is understandable ... and very stirring ... and the loss of soldiers like Jez Brooke is felt by many, many people.

  • I understand that the Duchess of Cornwall, who serves as the very loyal Royal Colonel to 4th Bn. the Rifles, gave a very stirring speech about the "Lions of Basra" in 2008 and has always followed the progress of 4th Bn. the Rifles with pride, admiration, and concern. She has visited them in Bulford, I understand, and has written very personally to those who have been injured and to the families of those who have died in service.

  • I think Jez will always live in the hearts of his friends, family, and those along whom he served so well.

  • R.I.P jez GOD BLESS

  • Got a lump in my throat. Didn't know him personally but i was in 2 RGJ. Sad loss , God Bless..
