ive seen the same thing but it wasnt the sun it was the moon that had that ring around it, it looked amazing.... especially becuz u can look at the moon without it hurting your eyes..

The 'halo' occurs for the exact same reason a rainbow occurs. Refraction of the different wavelengths of light through any moisture particles high in the atmosphere. As for the 'chem-trails', they're just your usual trails you get out of any jet engine. The formation of steam due to the combustion of hydrocarbons, being thrown out into low pressure air.
Didn't anyone here do high school physics.

@BeePeeOilDisaster Where I'm from there's no difference between High School, Secondary School or even some Colleges. The worlds bigger than the USA you know.
Besides, if that's a quick jab at my education, maybe you should try re-evaluating what I meant. You don't know my educational background, but I can assure you it goes a lot further than 'high school'.
Now, how about you actually try and debate my explanation instead of attacking the unimportant stuff?

@connchri - I was just playing with you... I admire your reply you have shown you are a person of very good character and I salute you... I hope you see I meant no harm... There is allot of strange things happening both on earth and in the universe that no one understands. Some has been seen before and many different people have different opinions and ideas but in reality no one knows for sure and thats what makes it very intriguing and interesting...
