You 'think' they didn't arrive in spaceships, but you don't know for sure. As for the sphere of light, what makes you think that wasn't a ship? We're talking about technology beyond the norm, to say the least. For beings that are faithful to God, their technology will not appear to be clunky or even mechanical for that matter.

@bass109 The Torah was written before the Bible, the Quran after the Bible, and 6000 BC (about 5800 years before the Torah) the stories were first told in Sumeria. Except in their version they literally said they were from another planet and they dna engineered humans out of the humanoid species that was here to speed up our evolution; which makes sense seeing as in the past 100,000 years our brain size tripled. They also had a map of our solar system with correct colors rotation ect.

I have heard of many. And just because you don't 'see' the vehicle the angels might have arrived in, doesn't mean it's not there.
