Hey I was looking at a cordless drill whith a 12v battery for like twenty buck but I wasn't sure if that was strong enough. Plus i've herd of poeple having problems with there drill motors burning out from the turque.

thats true. It might work. Unless you want to dish out more for a better one wind it... then cut the one you made then do it all over again to give the drill down time. You should be A okay!

I'd use UN galvanized, its harder to obtain but its nontoxic

I would like to thank you for making these tutorial video on how to make a chainmail........and you really REALLY did make it REALLY easy to learn and even make it........keep up making these helpful video......Now I am making my own chainmail suit (Roman Lorica Hamata)....though I started this year to make it........I've got a question here....how long would it take to make a chainmail suit which is thigh length and sleeveless?

What guage and inside ring size should I use for the box chain? Do I need to know the outside measurement also? Thank you
