We set the shanty up directly over a small brush pile in 15 feet of water and hammered the fish today

  • I love your "tech sled" with all the gizmos for the ice.

side imaging for the ice is truly the next step for finding that kind of structure.

keep on keepin on them slabs, plan to get some of our vids of ice fishing this year on youtube.

  • @gutshot300mag

Thanks! We have a real nice honey hole with a few brush piles. I created way points in the boat... The Side Imaging gets us exactly where we want to be, then it's lock and load!

  • Nothing special... Sony HD camera and a lot of time editing.

  • do you do ice charters?

  • @FishOnFishing Yes, I do... We're done for the season now though. I'll start again next December

  • @Fishingct what action do you use for panfish light, ultra light or med light and do you like the humminbird ice 45 im either looking at the 55 or 45 something that reads the depth.I love ice fishing for crapie its so fun!!!

  • @elkhunter97 I'm using the Quick Tip series of rods from Frabill. The tips are real sensitive and make seeing the light bites much easier. YouTube won't let me post a link here but if you search for the CTOutfitters channel, I just put a video up that will show you what I'm talking about with the rods. It's called: Introduction to Frabill Quick Tip Combos

I also have the Ice 45, I'm not sure the 55 is worth the extra money. Most of my fishing is 10-15 feet and the 45 does everything I need

  • Awesome vid! I subbed :)

  • @elkhunter97 thanks cuz im live in wisconsin so we only fish in about 5 to 15 fow so i was tired of using a spring bober and wanted something that would still show you the bights but not with a spring bober. I was looking at a stcroix rod that you can remove the springor get diffrent springs base on how hevy the bait is. Thanks.

  • how do you get your videos in such good quality?

  • @Fishingct Whats the going rate?
