Original Air Date—11 June 1960
Scott Brady starred as Shotgun Slade, a detective who roamed the west taking on cases for stagecoach lines, railroads, and banks.
Two escaped convicts, a grieving woman, and a widowed doctor who faithfully lays flowers on his wife's grave are among the seemingly incongruous elements factoring into Slade's investigation of a baffling bank robbery. http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=4ACA63D3BE26D9BE
the music really irritates me in this show

The jazzy score is the only thing that lifts this out of mediocrity. I like Westerns, even some standard ones, but this one's below standard.

this score would have been great for a "mickeySpilane"

@4a8p9x I rather like the score myself. I know the show did not last long, but it seemed cool!

They could have kept the jazz music, but change the setting to the 1960's West.

Maybe its just me, but I don't think that the jazz score really suits a western.
