American Idol alum Kimberley Locke joined Tyra for an in-depth talk about the lives of biracial people. Plus, she opened up by sharing personal stories about her struggles with growing up biracial. Then, Tyra met with biracial guests who felt so strongly about how they are racially identified, that they were dying to speak out. And she performed a groundbreaking social experiment by showing a guests picture to people on the street -- and asking them to pick the race they believed the person to be -- and why.

  • his mom is pretty... and i think latinas are pretty... and those mix girls were very pretty too especially the oldest daughter who isnt a hater.

  • I mean in Europe there are racist people, but at the same time most of the younger generations aren't at all, and being mixed, or having 2 nationalities is really something so normal, people don't look at themselves as part of 2 races. Why is this such an issue in the US, interracial dating, or being mixed I would like to understand it

  • Does the black Mexican or whatever understand he actually has a somewhat mexican accent, he says mexicans lack etiquette!? He is disrespecting his own mother, that goes way beyond etiquette, that's just being a plain little selfish punk.

  • HE IS SOOOOOO RETARDED! MY GOD SUCH CONTRADICTIONS!

  • He should be proud to have a mother, no matter where your mum is from.

  • i am not biracial but boy did I cry for the pain that these ppl endured

I have biracial family members and I"ve seen how our family treats them like they are friends of the family instead of family. My empathy may come from the fact that I lived with my aunt and uncle and their 2 children who are a biracial couple for 4 and half years. And I got a dose of the pain biracial ppl go through when we would all go out to places I am a dark skinned female. I pray for this world we live in

  • Chocolate Raaaaaiin...

  • @mycrazylittlestar well then, your Mexican family is ignorant. I am Mexican, married to a Brazilian, and my family ADORE my husband- he has been treated very well, and he is dark skinned, so any argument you might have about that will not count. Also, do you not know of all of the hatred and racism from Central Americans, South Americans, and Caribbeans towards Mexicans? You think it goes one way? There are all types of Mexicans, just like there are all types of Brazilians and Panamanians.
