Love Story or is it? *Chapter 9*

recap: Brianna's mom called her and accidently slipped about a camping trip. Nick is going to tell her whats its all about.

Nick was about to answer, but Angella came in.
Angella-"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE MARRYING NICK JONAS!"
Me-"IT'S AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE! I HAD NO SAY IN THIS!"
Nick-"Umm... Angella, I have to talk to Brianna so can you like, go away?"
Angella-"Okay, but I hope Katie knows about this!"
Then she left.
Me-"Oh shoot! Katie!"
Nick-"What's wrong?"
Me-"I forgot about Katie! She's is going to kill me!"
I grabbed my phone and dialed Katie's number.
Me-"Katie, I have to tell you something." (Nervous tone)
Katie-"Uh oh, is it bad?"
Me-"Well, yeah"
Katie-"What is it?"
Me-"Umm... I'm getting married to Nick."
Katie-"Why?!" (Really sad)
Me-"It's an arranged marriage."
Katie-"You're marrying my crush?!"
Me-"I'm sorry, I have no say in this marriage thing!"
Katie-"I'll talk to you later."
Me-"Okay, bye."
I was sitting on my bed and so was Nick. After I hung up, I felt so bad. I couldn't believe I was marrying Katie's crush since 3rd grade. There was just silence till Nick tried to make a convo.
Nick-"So, how did it go?"
Me-"Not too good. Another bad reason not to marry you is, I'm marrying my best friend's crush."
Nick-"It'll be okay."
Me-"Thanks for trying to help."
Nick-"So wanna hang out tomorrow?"
Me-"I can't, I have to do something."
Nick-"Well, you have no choice."
Me-"What do you..."
I couldn't finish my sentence cuz Joe yelled for me and Nick. I went downstairs where we saw Joe, Kevin, and Frankie on the couch.
Me-"What?!"
Kevin-"Hey Nick, did you tell her?"
Nick-"No..."
Me-"Tell me what?"
Kevin-"We're going camping!"
Me-"No! I hate camping."
Joe-"Aww come on, it'll be fun."
Me-"What about Frankie?"
Kevin-"There will be a babysitter for him."
Me-"How long is it?"
Joe-"About a week. Katie, Angella, Sandy, and Andy are coming!"
Me-"Okay... fine. Not like I have a choice."
Kevin-"You should pack up. We're leaving tomorrow."
Me-"Couldn't you have told me earlier?" (Annoyed)
I walked upstairs and started packing my clothes. Then I went to sleep cuz I was sleepy. Then I remembered I had to meet someone at my balcony at 11. I went to sleep wondering who he/she is.

10:30 pm
My alarm rang so I got up, took a shower, and got dressed. I put my hair down. I wore jeans and a t-shirt. By the time I was done, it was exactly 11. I went outside to my balcony. I saw Joe sitting on the chair on my balcony.
Me-"Joe? You gave me the letter?"
Joe-"Yeah, I need to talk to you about Nick."
Me-"Did he send you?"
Joe-"No, I came to talk to you about the marriage."
Me-"I can't go for an hour with out that word coming up."
Joe-"I'm sorry, but you need to know that Nick cares about you."
Me-"Like how?"
Joe-"I know he does. I'll prove it to you on the trip."
Me-"What are you going to do?" (Worried)
Joe-"I can't tell you, but by the end of the trip you'll believe me and everyone else who is telling you that."
Me-"Now I dread the camping trip more than ever."
Joe-"Well, see you tomorrow."
He hugged me.
Me-"How are you going to go to your room?"
Joe-"Same way I got up here. Climbing."
Me-"How did you climb up here?"
Joe-"On the wall, there is this big fence you can climb."
Me-"Okay..."
Joe-"See ya."
Joe climbed down the fence and walked into the backyard door. I went inside and fell asleep.
