For some reason I always think of Angelina Jolie as Melisande. Although the girl you picked is very pretty and probably closer to the right age. I'm not sure about Waldemar Selig. I can actually kinda see Eric Bana in that part. And Jonathan Rhys-Meyers would probably be perfect as Baudoin. Who would you pick for Isidore d'Aiglemort?

yeah, Angelina is also good to play Melisande.. Nevertheless, I think she is too "old" to plat that role.. melisande should be 23 ( Angelina is 40) . BTW, what do you think of Gerard Butler as Selig? He is my second choice for that role. for Isidore, i dont' have any idea at the moment.. i should think about it..

I liked all of the choices except for the Jessica Alba as Phedre. She's quieter...softer...and shorter...at least that's the way I always pictured her.

jessica alba is not so tall... BTw, just my curiosity, which actress would u choose instead? ^^ my choise is jessica 'cause i think her way of acting is really something strong and skillful at the same time. thank u for the comment ^_^

I like most of these, however I see Ralph Fiennes more as Delauney than Jude Law and Melisande should be a little older.

thanx for your comment ^^, anyway, even though Ralph Fiennes' ironical appearance would be perfect for Delaunay's role, i think he is too old to play that role: Anafiel Delaunay in the first novel is 30, while Ralph is about 40. As to Melisande, At the beginning of the novel she is quite young, 23 years old. Claudia Lynx is perfect, since her age is about 26. Furthermore, with make-up people can become older or younger.. it depends on the situation. BTW thank u again for your comment ^^

ok ill give the all of the other actors to only to i totally and utterly disagree with is jessica alba and eric bana, good actors, but not quite right if i had to pick waldermir selig i would choose Gerard Butler, and Phedre is so hard she has to take your breath away at least that was my interrpretation of her, now melisande she has to be so beautiful that it hurts to look at her. but i would definately pass on jessica alba, skins to dark, i dont know who i would pick, but it wouldnt be her

OMG i was so happy to find this!! I was just thinking of people to cast the other day, I picked Jolie for Melisande but I was just (re)starting the 3rd book at the time, megan fox would be a good young choice if she was an actor... I LOVED your Ysandre choice! I was thinking of Kiera Knightly for Phedre, what do you think? Alba is good too tho! Alcuin was so sweet! good to see such a devoted fan somewhere! I disagree with Jessica Alba and Michael Copon... Since I am deadset on David Alpay for Hyacinthe... Also, I prefer Gerard Butler for Selig though Eric is a good second... But he's not barbaric enough for me to be a Selig. And I've always imagined Eric Bana for the Dalriada bloke, what's his name... Who have you got pegged for Isidore? I'm stuck between Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Gaspard Ulliel for Isidore and Baudoin, can't pick which is which... Adore Claudia Lynx and Jude Law.

I think Jude Law is a bit to young for the part in my head. And to skinney. And Hyacinthe should be black. And Wedimir Selig needs to be of heartier stock and taller. Pretty good put together over all tho. Bravo.

i love jessica alba as phedre because she can be soft and girly and sweet and she can also be sex personified and a badass.i really like who you have as melisande.i get sicj of hearing jolie for her i think she would overshadow whoever played anyone else

I might have picked different, since Alucin didn't look much like it was said in the book. It was hinted at, over and over again that he was an albino. But, you did a good job.
