Summary: Doris Gallan and her husband made a lot of changes prior to their major decision to travel the world together: they had moved from Canada to California, always encouraged each other to return to school, and to change jobs. They are each other's best friends and were adamant about maintaining good communication, which was a big key to their good relationship and a good marriage. Spending the whole day together in these different countries created surprisingly different dynamics, but not in the way they thought it would.
