The second amendment is the Right to Bear Arms. If everyone in this country expressed that amendment, a terrorist would be a BLOODY FOOL to try and hijack one of our planes. Would YOU hijack a plane if you knew everyone on it was packing heat?

@asymthought1 You just don't know me. I believe in rising up and speaking up for what you believe in. I applaud you for feeling so strongly about this. There are things I rise against, and we all must choose our own battles.... although some of them are chosen for us. The truth is that us sitting here typing back and forth with never get anything done, so neither one of us is being very effective. We are just speaking our minds.

@0326hkim I have to disagree with peeing on dead bodies, children look up to and worship these soldiers. Even war can and should be conducted with some level of honor. This country seems to think it's superior to all others..yet our soldiers are seen peeing on dead bodies. It does not make me proud to be an American when I see that.

A lot of myths in here! Full body scanners use radio waves not x-rays.
All airport staff are screened before they start work. Staff who go onboard are security checked and wanded for metallic objects. All airport staff are subject to background security checks before they get the job, or on a provisional pass are subject to the same security as a passenger.
