  • Waylon Jennings was not a drinker, he was a pill addict & cocaine addict in the day. Despite his past use of drugs, he was no doubt a force in music. He became a Legend By Doing Things His Way. In my personal opinion no artist has ever left such an impact on the music world.

  • @WOODYSKYM THANK YOU!!!!! No one likes to recognize that he was NOT a drinker. And yes, he was an addict, but for the sake of his wife, his children, himself, and all other family and friends, he stopped before it got too out of hand. I will second your comment proudly, and I will also add that he was a wonderful man that loved his wife and children more than life itself. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather.

  • why did he name his house southern comfort

  • He didn't indicate why he did. He just did.

  • There is a fantastic interview on youtube with him and Johny Cash where they both talk about their addictions. Letterman I think. Reguardless, he was a fantastic performer. My question is, does anyone know his song "Rose in Paradise." I love that song and it has hardly been watched on youtube!

  • he will always be incredible... who cares if he drank or used drugs. he was one hell of a voice for country music.. and sad to say now days there is none. i like very few because NO ONE compares to the spirit of Mr. Jennings.

  • Thanks for the great music.
