Waylon's voice and sound was both louder and more unique than anyone of the Highwaymen, a true love goodbye.

Godspeed Waylon, you will always be on my mind

There is a fantastic interview on youtube with him and Johny Cash where they both talk about their addictions. Letterman I think. Reguardless, he was a fantastic performer. My question is, does anyone know his song "Rose in Paradise." I love that song and it has hardly been watched on youtube!

I didn't get born till 1980, but I got a slough of Waylon songs I hear daily. This dude could sing like no other. Even now, gotta think twice about trustin' a man who don't like Waylon Jennings.

there will never be another waylon...refer to the george jones song 'who's gonna fill thier shoes'

I think he was a soul mate to all of us... :-) Indeed just a GOOD man, in all aspects...May God bless him & R.I.P.

Waylon Jennings was not a drinker, he was a pill addict & cocaine addict in the day. Despite his past use of drugs, he was no doubt a force in music. He became a Legend By Doing Things His Way. In my personal opinion no artist has ever left such an impact on the music world.

@WOODYSKYM THANK YOU!!!!! No one likes to recognize that he was NOT a drinker. And yes, he was an addict, but for the sake of his wife, his children, himself, and all other family and friends, he stopped before it got too out of hand. I will second your comment proudly, and I will also add that he was a wonderful man that loved his wife and children more than life itself. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather.
