I find this documentary cooler than the movie, not in terms of effects but just the fact that this is human and real, makes it seem much more significant. And Persia was one of the greatest empires in human history, not black, mutilated monsters as Frank Miller would like us to believe. Sorry fanboys.

Just read history and you learn that spartans came from a greek tribe called dorian who lived at the mountains of Pindos..then because of several problems they moved at other places.The name of a place they went was Pelloponisus.They fought with the locals and managed to win them,they said that the name of that region would be Lakonia and after years the capital was named Sparta...Spartans are Greeks..i am historian and i know much more things..
