you said that you use 2 110 volt inverters combined for 220 to your well, my question is what about phase is not the second leg of 220 a diff phase than the first?

Hi, good to see you are healing up!
When you get a minute, can you please let me know what you think the best and most cost efficient way of "encapsolating" the solar panel is in your oppinion? Is plexiglass an option or does it need to be tempered glass only? I am having a tough time with sourcing tempered glass.....
thanks again!

So there's no circuit protection on the power coming from your inverters?

@7thgardian Yes. Their in the inverters. Circuit breakers and a nice little alarm will beep. The remote resets are the little black boxes just above the outlets.

I bought an 8000W 220V inverter thinking I would be able to use it to run my deep well pump, but everyone I have talked to so far has told me that it will not work because the pump draws so many amps at startup that it will drain the batteries much faster than the solar panels can charge them. Have you actually run your pump off of your solar system and, if so, has the load been been a problem?

@watchnpray247 You should try it. The well only runs for a short time. I only use it in emergence. Your inverter should have a peak rating which is for start up. It should work fine. If the well is a long way from the house it might trip out because of the long run of wire. If my batteries are weak. Then it will trip out my inverters too. The more batteries and panels you add the more it will help. Peace:)
