Final Fantasy Origins (FF1) - Last Boss Battle / Ending sequence

Well... this was my first unprepared charge right into the last boss of Final Fantasy I so don't rate too hard please ^^ And that's also it for now with my FF1 Gameplay Videos, gonna start Final Fantasy II now and may make videos of that too if there are some interesting battle's / sequences :)

damn.. Talk about that they nerfed the boss in this version. I play on my psp and the boss is much much much harder... I remember the nes version being a real pain in the ass aswell.

Every Boss of FF is "hard" if you don't prepare well. ^^ I didn't play the NES/PSP version yet, just wanted to know the story :) But since i'm older than 14 years old there is no Boss in any FF who's really "pain in the ass" ..

@WingeDClouD93 well, I been playing ALOT of rpgs in my time but this one is rather hard both when it comes to battles and the hints about where to go next. but the age has nothing to do with it, Im 25 and as mentioned played alot so. The reason I know about the nerf is that my chars is now lvl 42 on the psp, and its hard as fuck. Still he gets to act first every turn and he almost kills my black mage with 2 spells. But I remember every lvl in the nes version being worth more, but harder to get.

Can't take the loading times on the NES version though, the loading times are the real pain in the ass in FF1 o.O Does the PSP have shorter loading times? Then I may try the PSP version..

@WingeDClouD93 haha well clever gots nothing to do with it, im pretty sure they nerfed him, I cant survive that many turns against him, and im 10lvls above you in this video and you could even skip turns of healing :P So im pretty sure its that way. Well, Dont remember about the loading times, So i guess they were kinda fair, Otherwise I would remember them as a pain in the ass :P

maybe you just remember it as a nightmare but if you try it now the boss is easy ;P happened to me with many bosses :P

Damn he sure is weak in this version. On the gba version, he would kill my guys pretty fast and they were all lvl 100.

@smiley00341 No, 50 is the maximum level. Did you Jobchange into your higher jobs? If you did not give the rat's tail to Bahamut, then you have not.

You ought to consult a walkthrough if your troubles persist.

@Anemite hehe, well I guess I just suck at the older FF games =) Besides I play mostly because of the plot, staying with the game afterwards trying to complete all challenges and make yourself overpowered does not quite suit my gamestyle.

@Isdraken u kidding, the PSP boss is a piece of crap, the only hard boss is the one in the NES and PSX in normal mode, the PSP has the "easy mode" of the PSX version which suck, thats why the solo challenges and class challenge are so easy to pull off

I been having trouble with this game bad, I think something is wrong with the programing my guys stoped gaining HP and I was only able to level to level 50 only my warrior had HP of 999 and the others were like 780 700 and 495, I ran out of Experience it is maxed out at 9999999 or something like that I can't reach higher level than 50 so my guys can't reach higher HP :(.

Is there a certain way I am supposed to level up so my guys reach more HP? Did I miss something in the game?

LOL you gave your white mage the Masamune. But then again, the knigt and ninja already have Excalibur and Sasuke's Blade... I guess it makes sense.
