Airbus tested landing and take-off characteristics of its A380 superjumbo in strong cross-winds at Keflavik airport in Iceland. There were winds at 45 kts, gusting to 55 kts, perpendicular to the runway.

Notice the Boeing 737 that taxis in front of the A380 in one scene. It is truly dwarfed by the gigantic behemoth. Fantastic!

  • wow that blue plane looks like a baby compared to the 380

  • Yeah, and keep in mind that blue plane is a B737, which can seat 150 people...
