Synopsis:
Cousins Debbie and Ray Jo Kooter are a country-western singing sensation as big as Dolly Partons double Ds. But it wasnt always that way for The Kooter Cousins. There was a time when the biggest gig theyd had was a tractor pull at the fair grounds. Their newest platinum album is a compilation of songs inspired by the struggles and obstacles they faced trying to escape their small hometown in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. Whether those obstacles were Debbies moms visions from Jesus often do more harm than good, Ray Jos mom, who had seven children with nine different men, the law which the cousins always seemed to be breaking accidentally, the bizarre guidance given by retiree Clarence, who, back in the sixties, was the only black man in Soddy Daisy, or their arch nemesis, Jack of All Trades, who was always trying foil their plans to become successful. Each episode shows the stories and adventures that inspired the next song off their new album and culminates with that songs music video. Each season is a new album. Track 01: Out of Death Comes Bacon.
