it wont go into dfu mode on itunes 7.7, it somehow kicks it out of dfu mode and puts it back to recovery mode -.-

Its okay if itunes 7.7 says its in recovery...Just make sure your ipod screen is completely black

thx for replying but when i mean it kicks it out of dfu mode, i mean physically, it stays in dfu mode for a few seconds, then i see a white screen then it reboots into recovery on its own, is this a new failsafe that itunes has made?

I have a jailbroken 1.1.1. Can I directly do the 2.0, or must I upgrade to 1.1.x first?
