Ladies and Gentlemen, Please Welcome Your Boston Bruins, with Paree (aka Ça C'est Paris), the traditional theme song of the Boston Bruins, Performed Tonight by Ben Schwartz

No, I am not Ron Poster. But I did do a pretty good impression of Ron Poster for eight years in Providence. He doesn't use Old VOX Legend much anymore, but I still do. Actually, this organ is "Mods Combo" with some fanfare brass thrown in. It should sound *very* familiar. I guess Poster likes the theatre organ effect.

  • Hi Ben, do they still play that song this year?

  • I wish that the Bruins would start using this song again. It was perfect for whenever the team was skating onto the ice.

  • Gladys Goodding played the Rangers Victory Song each time the Rangers game on the ice. She also played Paree when the Bruins game out fot the pregame warm up. John Kiley played the Rangers Victory Song when the Rangers and Bruins met at the Boston Garden

  • Great job. I cant tell you how many times I was there to hear John Kiley play it. BTW, can you play the New York Rangers opening song from that era. I dont remember the name but t was played by organist Gladys Gooding.

  • Paree takes me back to my youth, listening to the B's on the portable radio in my bedroom while my homework sat idle on the desk.

  • Got to put the closing riff the great John Kiley always used onto that!

  • GREAT job buddy!!! The Late John Kiley would approve!!
