so the gksudo nautilus command gives you full acces to files? can i hide pics and access them using that? hahahaha

if you are starting it from bash, then you should only need sudo, whereas you should use gksudo for alt+f2 or anything else

yay! i had already changed the background, but when i pressed enter i briefly got the old throbber and background, but you showed me how to fix that, thanks!

@eXsoR65 isn't that exact same way? you either find or make throbber and the logo as an png, then replace them...

My pc is not running so why don't you completely remove xsplash and reinstall it?
