For my computer vision project I developed a program that can quickly read in a state of the Rubik's cube using techniques from Computer Vision.

Implemented in Python using the OpenCV library.

  • Pretty cool setup there. Could this be modified to easily work with bigger cubes (4x4 and 5x5, say)? Would it be hard to link this to a solver?

  • Well at least a few hours of work to extend it, but a LOT can be reused.
