@iansonwheels should have replied to you but check out my post before buying, Look real hard at the HPI Flux HP, has a lot more metal parts on it then the Stampede. Check out videos by fluxful he is running his in sub zero weather in I think Finland and rarely breaks (not to mention he has assume video footage) Good luck

save a little longer and buy the HPI Flux HP built much better . About $200 more but more than worth it. You will spend that much on the Stampede in the first month (if you drive it much) in upgrades for all the things that will break. I know I have 2 of them (one for me and one for my grandson). Figure on RPM A Arms,new bearing carriers,front steering castors, lots of axle shafts (I broke at least one on each outting and I am not running lipo's) will trash a body in no time (they are junk).

@TrustworthyMtgGuy true but again im viewing this from a sacing type of standpoint and this thing would FLY but longer lengths of boddies dose help. the slas isnt a wheelie on comand thing it sticks to the ground like glue but i just dont see it in the pede (racing standpoint) fun and bashing viewpoint i agree fith you100% all the way

@william0049 I rock a 2wd VXL Stampede on 5000mah 3S 35-45C batteries, and she holds up damb good !...I'd think the 4X4 will be easier on them because the power is split between four axels rather than two, ...then again the truck will be heavier by nature so when walking from rear to rear wheel on a high speed wheelie they could go snap.....I RATHER HAVE tHIS THAN A 4X4 SLASH any DAY !!.....Long live the Pede!
