Astronaut Greg Chamitoff, aboard the International Space Station 220 miles above Earth, is taking your questions.

Post a video response to this video or visit http://www.nasa.gov/ask and submit a question there. Chamitoff's schedule will not allow him to answer many questions, but he will attempt to answer a few each week.

  • Hello there!

    Heres my Question

At exactly which point during launch do you become gravity free? - aAnd also how was it to wake up in zero g for the first time?

  • This is a great idea!

  • Planet Earth is blue, but isn't there anything you can do?

  • Are microgravity experiments still nixed or have conditions changed to allow rigourous mg experiments to proceed? If so what kind of experiments are being conducted?

Early space manufaturing conjecture talked about foamed stell and other things impossible to manufature in a gravity well. Is nasa still investigating using zero g processes to manufacture better, lighter, stronger launch systems?

  • Why isn't Pluto considered a planet if it has it's own orbit and it's own satellite, Charon? Is it a moon? a Planetisimal?

  • Dear mister astronout guy man in space

Do you have internet cables dragged behind your space staion to get on youtube?

  • Have you seen anything that you will never forget?? Of course the earth from space but anything else?? Cheers. Good luck=) Have a safe flight

  • :l

Noone is seeing the point of this:

VIDEO RESPONSE AND YOUR QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED.

    That's what you do.

  • people arnt as you put it taller in space.. however if your body was to undertake growth in space you would grow taller than what you would at earth, this is because of the lack of gravity, i read somewhere dont quote this as exact because i vaguely remember but if you were to be exposed to the gravity on the moon for your entire life you would grow to over 3m tall

  • dude, are there any restrictions on waht you can talk about with regards to the stuff that you can see out in space

  • If you drive a car at the speed of light, the front lights of the car will move at the speed of light in relation to you, i.e. as if you were still stationary. It's a theory developed by einstein.

  • What are the specs on that laptop behind you there?
