Starbucks Coffee mixed with Plastic Frapuccino

Actual Description of Incident from Starbucks Employees Perspective:

"Around 10:00 pm, when Mr. Alonzo, a regular customer and his wife Ms. Malou dropped by to complain about the drink Mr. Alonzo bought this morning, August 7, 2011 around 9:25 am (transaction # 134895 and 134894). Mr. Alonzo bought a Venti and Grande Mocha Frappuccino light blended beverage for To Go. They were complaining the foreign object found on a Grande Mocha Frappuccino light, I believe that it was a cap of creme or coffee flavoured syrup blended into pieces. Ms.Malou tole me that she split the drink with her daughter and they didn't notice the foreign object until it was almost empty. She was very dissappointed regarding the incident, she told me that she will post the pictures they toook online. But, her main concern was the foreign object she and her daughter drank. I advised them to take a medical examination or check up to any hospital and we will take care of their medical expenses. I gave Ms. Malou our store phone number and my mobile number. I also gave them two (2) service recovery coupons to compensate our mistake. I admit to them that it was our fault and that I will bring this issue up to the partners involve." No response from Starbucks & they refused to compensate us for medical expenses.
