  • Robert Fisk is an admirable, honest reporter. It is ignorant people such as Davz99 who cannot see the truth, If he and his ilk would take time out and really see what is going on in the world then maybe, just maybe!!!!!!!

  • Great man.

  • robert fisk is turkiye s enemy.I wonfer his price, pritish pigg

  • How should you try to understand this? Imagine if somebody stole your land and illegally put a blockade on your neighborhood for over 60 years. How would you react?

  • @Yosh997 . You were called on your lie. No need to be such a p*ssy

  • @Yosh997

Maybe or maybe not. The problem is IDF raided those ships knowing that it can turn to a mob fight but they were armed with live rounds , briefly to know what happened there must be an inquiry and at least IDF should show the moments people got shot , it will reveal the inciden for people like you and me.

  • @Yosh997

Even if your officers sitation maks it hard for them to see what is going to happen, afterwards it seem it was unnecessary an extreme. They culdn't keep calm and it already started very bad. Because Mavi Marnmara declred that they will not comply from the beginning , the ships could stoppd by naval crafts , Because other ships forced to be stopped by blockading their ways, for example. Simply IDF could or did not carry it out properly and it is their rsponsibility now.

  • @Yosh997

About 250 rounds leaving 9 deads and 30 woundeds , is not a good thing when you compare the autopy reperts show how onfirmed kills they are like 4-5 bullets on each , fired very closely. Dude it wa totally illegimita provocation when it was started and turned into a massacre like it got strted by the activists.

  • @Yosh997

I saw pitures of one of these 3 soldiers being medically treated. And it is quite convincing. And don't forget these men are landed to the ship with machine guns , so that i odd situation for the passengers. t was international waters. And to kill a man is a hard thing for a man do not have murderer soul within. These people just proved that don't forget not only 3 men captured their weapons too obtained . But no israeli got even shot at, this is cool.

  • @vakasim Israelis fired around 250 live rounds. 9 people were killed 30 wounded. I would not call that indiscriminate fire. 250 rounds. Only 9 killed and 30 wounded. 250 rounds. How many of these were warning shots? People being shot at close ranges is consistent with self-defence. Unarmed people shot at 50 meters = not justified. Maybe some of the 9 killed were just murdered. I don't know that. I wasn't there.

P.S. I just watched/listened this interview with Fisk. It's good.

  • @vakasim Continuing. My take on the situation is that SOME of the people on Mavi Marmara were violent islamists and REST of them were not violent. You can't wait and seize the ship deck by deck when these people hold your soldiers hostage. Why? Because judging by the brutal treatment and abduction of the first 2-3 soldiers that rappelled down first they were in mortal danger. None of the soldiers died - true. Could the IDF officers foresee this? No. Continuing.

  • @vakasim From the point of view of the officers responsible for the lifes of the soldiers. HOW can you know what is going to happen to the abducted soldiers? You have seen them being beaten up and stabbed with knives. HOW could you know they are not going to be killed? Would they tell you: "hey, we are just going to beat them up a bit and then we are going to treat their wounds"? Does this make any sense? IF i was the officer in charge i would CONSIDER my soldiers being in mortal danger.
